IL PERCORSO

Serena Baccaglini graduated  and specialized in Art History and Critique of Art in Padova University, Italy and Art and Literature in UCSD, University of California San Diego.

 

Since 1995, she is the founder of the Event Division in MRA (Marketing, Research, Advertising), organizing art events for companies, developing art and economy, her main field of research and study.

 

She conceived, curated, and coordinated many art exhibitions in the world (Czech Republic, Poland, Brazil, Italy, France, Germany, Qatar) about the great Spanish masters: Goya, Picasso, and Dali, with the study and world premiere of the Guernica and Demoiselles d’Avignon, collaborating with international cultural institutions as the Picasso Foundation (partner in 2011-12), the Dali, Modigliani and other renowned international museums.

 

In 2016, she organized two main exhibitions with international scientific committees: the first about Tiziano Vecellio in the Prague Castle (Czech Republic), and El Greco, "The Metamorphosis of a Genius" in Casa dei Carraresi, Treviso (Italy).

 

She directs events for ASAM, the operative section for Business Study and Management in Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, and collaborates with the High School of Formation in the same university. She is part of the Scientific Committee in the first Master Degree of Negotiation in Europe with Dr. Michael Tsur, a worldwide leader in this field.

 

Baccaglini overlooks international relations for the TINA B. the International Contemporary Art Festival, in which she curated its first edition in Biennale, Venice.

 

She collaborates as the contributing journalist with many art magazines as OK Arte Milan, Area Arte Veneto, and Messaggero Group, and austrian magazine Milionart.

 

For the 80 years of Guernica and 70 years of Italian Constitution, she conceived and organized the first exhibition of Guernica Cartoon , “Guernica Icon of Peace” in the Senate of Italian Repubblic ( December 14, 2017-  January 5, 2018) with the presence of the President of the Senate Pietro Grasso and the President of Repubblic Sergio   Mattarella.

The exhibition moved  till the end of February 2018 to Museo Magi ‘900 in Pieve di Cento ( Bologna) , partner of the project.

 

Research and continuing education are essential elements in her life: Positive Thinking  with professor Tal Ben Shahar Pennsylvania University, Harvard University and Negotiation with professor Michael Tzur, Colombia University are important fields of research.
